ABOUT OUR FIRM
Beebe Design Studio Architects is located in Venice, on the Gulf Coast of South Florida in Sarasota County. We are a collaborative team of architects, designers and draftsmen serving residential and commercial clients in our surrounding communities.
Founded in 1994 by Mark Beebe, A.I.A., our firm specializes in new custom residential and commercial design projects. In addition, Beebe Design Studio has worked in designing numerous new construction and renovation projects for country clubs, restaurants, church facilities, private pre-schools, office building, health care facilities, and various other commercial projects.
Our firm is exceptionally familiar with the design parameters and building regulations unique to waterfront construction; specifically to those on the Florida Gulf Coast. We work closely with owners, engineering consultants, interior designers, general contractors, and state/local building agencies, to make our clients vision a reality.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
At Beebe Design Studio Architects, our clients and their visions are the primary focus of our design team approach. Because we listen carefully to our clients and are attentive to their goals and objectives, our professional design staff has been consistently successful in exceeding our client’s expectations for their custom design projects.
While our primary objective is to create design solutions that are unique for each of our clients’, within an appropriate aesthetic style, we also believe that function, performance, construction quality, and overall cost are equally important considerations throughout the design process.
Each design seeks to optimize its site by taking advantage of features such as native vegetation, views, orientation for solar and natural ventilation, and client preferences for privacy and visibility. An in depth understanding of our tropical climate and environmental considerations particular to the Gulf coast of Florida, not only facilitate creative design solutions, but result in aesthetics that function well and perform over time.
Incorporation of green design and building techniques is not only a goal for all of our designs but we feel is a responsibility to both our clients and our environment.
METHODOLOGY AND PROCESS
We have developed a uniquely personal and collaborative methodology to the design process which allows our clients’ visions, project goals, and personalities to be reflected in each of the living / working spaces we design. We believe that any custom residence, commercial building or renovation project requires an exceptional team of design professionals who can work together with clients to produce unique architecture that is sustainable over time and offers lasting value.
In addition, we provide professional guidance for projects that are “site-specific” and unique to our tropical environment, so that our designs become integral with their surroundings.
